Tomorrow, Councilmember Price will be joined by top medical experts from across the City for a live, virtual discussion on COVID-19 as part of a health talk called "What's Race and Ethnicity Got to Do With It?" Health Inequities in the Black and Brown Community. The timely discussion addressing the COVID-19 impact on African American and Latinx communities will be broadcast live Thursday, May 7 at 2:30 p.m. on his Facebook page @CurrenDPriceJr.
With the help from health experts from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, Keck School of Medicine of USC, Kedren Community Health Center, Inc. and St. John's Well Child & Family Center, they will shed light on health disparities experienced in minority communities.
